Participating in an event hosted by GUCCI Japan

At the request of GUCCI Japan, we held a "Pressed Flower Art Postcard Workshop" at the GUCCI flagship store.
We showed the process of making postcard-sized pressed flower art in front of customers, and the finished pressed flower art card was given to take home as it was. The pressed flowers used in the art were prepared in advance by the artist himself, who pressed fresh flowers into flowers.
On the day, customers chose their favorite pressed flowers from the list, and the artist improvised a design. We also received requests from customers to "make it to match their image," which was also created based on inspiration on the spot.
This event was held over three days at five stores: Shinjuku, Ginza, Aoyama, Kobe Daimaru, and Nagoya. The pressed flowers we prepared were made by deciding the type and color of flowers after multiple meetings with the GUCCI Japan team, and fresh flowers were pressed into flowers to match the date of the event.
In a spacious and beautiful store, where many languages are spoken, and surrounded by the cheerfulness and smiles of the busy yet smartly moving staff, the art is created right in front of the customers. The wonderful space stimulated the design inspiration and we were able to hand out a number of unique pressed flower art cards.
The cards were well received by customers, and it was a very valuable time for the artists to be able to encounter so many smiles and words of praise.
